Dr. Chris Mackowski, professor of Journalism and Mass Communication, recently published a pair of biographical sketches in "The Commanders of Antietam," the newest publication from the Antietam Institute. The pieces highlighted Confederate generals Stonewall Jackson and the irascible D. H. Hill.

Artwork by Heather Lynn Harris, associate professor and director of the master's in Marketing Communication program, has been licensed by Blanc Space Art, LLC for inclusion in the prestigious Silverado Resort & Spa project in Napa Valley, California.

Anne Lee, a lecturer in the Jandoli School of Communication, presented her research on Marilyn Monroe at the Mid-Atlantic Popular & American Culture Association conference in Atlantic City on Nov. 7.

Heather Harris, associate professor and director of the master's program in Marketing Communication, was invited to speak at Texas A&M University-Commerce on Nov. 21.

Dr. Kimberly DeSimone, professor and director of the master's in Leadership program, was appointed on Oct. 1 to the board of trustees for the Aquarium of Niagara (AON) and will head up the Diversity, Equity, Access, & Inclusion Committee.
