Anne and Richard Lee represent SBU at Local News Summit
Jandoli School faculty members Anne and Dr. Richard Lee, lecturer and professor, respectively, represented the university at the inaugural State University of New York Institute for Local News Summit at SUNY Oneonta, April 10-11.
SBU's Mackowski gives talks and tours in Boston as part of America 250
Dr. Chris Mackowski, professor of Communication, presented a pair of programs for the American Battlefield Trust in Boston, Massachusetts, in early May. The talks were part of America 250, an ongoing celebration and commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence that runs through July 4, 2026.

Dr. Kimberly DeSimone’s manuscript “Adam as the First Failed Leader: A Feminist-Epistemological Reframing of Genesis Through Leadership Theory” has been accepted for presentation at the Academy of Business Research Conference in Marathon, Florida, Oct. 29–31.
