Dr. Connie Perkins, founding director of Nursing, has completed an Agrisafe Nurse Scholar program focused on the agriculture-producing population's health, wellness, and safety.
Dr. Connie Perkins, founding director of Nursing, has completed an Agrisafe Nurse Scholar program focused on the agriculture-producing population's health, wellness, and safety.
This was a scholarship opportunity supported by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Perkins will use the training to infuse an additional focus on rural health care into SBU's nursing programs.
